Mr. Watson served hisjjapprenticeship with the late Mr. T. T. L. Overend, 12 Ely Place, Dublin, was admitted in Michaelmas Sittings, 1898, and practised at 34 Uawson Street, Dublin, up to the year 1900, when he retiied from practice. Examination Results. The Findlater Scholarship was awarded to Edmund Carroll who obtained First Place and a Silver Medal at the October, 1923, Final Examination. He served his ap– prenticeship with his father, Mr. Anthony Carroll, of Fermoy. The Overend Preliminary Examination Scholarship was awarded to Gerald M. Counahan, who is serving his apprenticeship with Mr. Robert Kieran of Dublin. The Overend Final Examination Scholarship was awarded to Samuel Love, who served his apprenticeship with Mr. George T. Harley of the firm of R. H. Wallace & Co., Down- patrick. 1923. On the 1st August, 1924, the Damage to Property (Compensation) (Amendment) Act, 1924, was passed, the object of which is to authorise the issue of Securities in cases within Section 15 of the Act of 1923.
