General Meeting. The Half-yearly General Meeting of the Society will be held in the Molesworth Hall, Molesworth Street, Dublin, at 2 o'c. p.m., on Monday, 18th May, 1925, at which auditors of the Society's Accounts for year ending 30th April, 1925, will be elected, and scrutineers of Ballot for Election of Council to be held on 23rd November, 1925, will be nominated. Obituary. MR. JOHN M. McDowELL, Solicitor, died upon the 19th April, 1925, in London. Mr. McDowell served his apprenticeship with the late Mr. J. J. O'Meara, 211 Great Brunswick Street, Dublin ; was admitted in Hilary Sittings 1896, and practised at 3 College Green, Dublin. MR. DANIEL S. DOYLE, Solicitor, died upon the 23rd April, 1925, at his "residence, 5 Wilton Terrace, Dublin. Mr. Doyle was admitted in Michaelmas Sittings, 1889, and practised at 1 Capel Street, Dublin, up to 1909, in which year he wa? appointed Assistant Registrar General and Secretary of the General Register and Census Offices.

Council Meeting.

22nd April. Sixteen Members present. Dublin District Courts.

The question of increased facilities for the hearing of Civil cases in the Dublin City District Courts was considered, and it was decided to make representations in reference thereto. Railway Tribunal Rules. A letter was read from the Registrar of the Railway Tribunal acknowledging the receipt of the suggestions received from the Council in reference to the draft rules of the Tribunal which had been sent to the Council for consideration. Annual Subscriptions. Members are reminded that their Annual Subscriptions to the Society became due on the first day of May, as follows : Town Members, and Country Members, of more than three years standing, entitled to vote at elec– tion of Ordinary Members of the Council ...
