Irish Solicitors' Golfing Society. The annual competition will be held at Dollymount, on Tuesday, 26th May. The competition will be by strokes ; members to play on their lowest club handicap. First draw, 10 a.m. In the after– noon, foursome sweepstakes ; members to select partners and opponents. 1 The annual general meeting will be held in the Clubhouse, at 6.30 p.m., for election of officers; nominations should be sent to Mr. Horan, Hon. Sec., 7 Winton Road, Dublin, ten days before 26th May. A dinner willj^be held in the Clubhouse in the evening.

Library. The Council acknowledge with thanks the following gift to the Society's Library : Mr. Charles J. Lane. Irish Equity Reports, Vols. I.-XL ; Irish Law Reports, Vols. I.-XI. ; and Statutes of 1831, 1832, 1836-1865, and 1867-1883. The Council would be grateful for copies of the Society's Calendar for the following years : 1888-1893 inclusive, and 1895, 1897, 1902, 1903, 1904 and 1905.
