WELCOME H appy New Year. 2016 is already shaping up to be an exciting year for film buffs, gamers and music lovers, and we squint into our crystal ball to scry what’s hot and on the horizon. But we haven’t left 2015 behind completely – there’s still some awards to present for the best releases across all categories from the year that was. We’ve chosen our Top 10 in film (on DVD), TV, games and albums, and now we want YOU to pick the best of the best. There’s a prize up for grabs for voters, as well as the opportunity to see your very own review published in this illustrious magazine – see page 10 for further details and nominations. Which brings us to Star Wars: The Force Awakens . After what seemed like an eternity of sorting fact from rumour and being drip fed tidbits of information concerning the closely guarded plot, the movie finally opened and the wait came to an end.
