digital This full colour digital printing process uses four ink colours, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (Key). Printing digital provides far greater branding opportunities, allowing for more innovative designs and logo styles. The process can be cheaper too as only one set up is required with a single ‘plate’ charge. Laser engraving Laser engraving is a process where a laser beam physically removes the surface of the product to expose a cavity that reveals an image at eye level. The laser essentially vaporises the material meaning that the process can be fairly quick.

transfer / sublimation Transfer printing is the process of printing your designs onto a special, transferable vinyl material. The printed material is then transferred onto the product using a commercial heat press. It enables full-colour images to be printed very quickly. Pad Print Pad printing (also called tampography) is a printing process that can transfer a 2-D image onto a 3-D object. This is accomplished using an indirect offset printing process that involves an image being transferred from a silicone pad to the product. Pad printing is used for printing on otherwise difficult to print on surfaces.

screen printing Screen printing is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto the product, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh apertures with ink. To print multiple colours in this method a screen for each colour must be made.
