Tips for your Game

Tennis Tips

Find the Ideal Contact Point You’ve probably been told to hit the ball “out in front” on a volley. That’s misleading. You should make contact when the ball is between your shoulders. If you make contact at this point, your arm acts as a lever and pushes through the ball for more power.

Pickleball Tips

Play it safe, let your opponent make the mistakes. Keep the ball in play, and when you find the chance to put it away, then go for it. Get to the kitchen. It is more effective to hit the ball in the air than to back up and let it bounce. Watch the ball. Get in the zone with the ball and don’t worry about what your opponents are doing. Just keep looking at the ball. Fluid and smooth swings. Stroke the ball, let your paddle go through; and use your legs, not the wrists. Keep it a simple stroke.
