BIDDING

CONSTRUCTION PHASE

• We will work with the architect and District to answer bidder questions and issue addenda • We will tabulate the bids and advise the District on costs and the value of bid alternates • We will present bid results to the Board and assemble construction contracts for execution and issue the notice to Proceed

Easton Area SD • DEI will work with the architect and District to advertise bids and distribute bid documents. • DEI will continuously work to attract bidders to the project. Contractors know that DEI projects have been well organized and that clear and concise bid documents can be expected.

Mrs. LaBrake is a registered architect works with Jamie during renovation projects by assisting with design issues, project phasing and code inspections. She will assist by providing reviews of the building system work scopes and in identifying code & permitting hurdles for the project phases.

Management Profiles

Arif Fazil, P.E., CCS, CCCA, LEED AP, CEM - President Mr. Fazil is a K-12 program strategist. He participated as a consultant in the State’s recent reorganization of the PlanCon process and is highly regarded by the Department of Education. He will assist in this capacity should any of the projects be eligible for reimbursement.

Ronald C. Carr, P.E. - Vice President and Senior Principal Bringing over 30 years of dedicated experience in structural design and analysis as well as forensic investigation, Mr. Carr is an expert in structural design concept development, speci- fication writing, and performance of static and dynamic analyses. As Principal – in – Charge, Mr. Carr oversees the work of the DEI engineering staff and draftspersons in addition to providing overall project management for the design of medium and large scale structures.

Murray, P.E. - Senior Project Manager A proven leader with more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Murray specializes in project management of through all phases of industrial capital project planning and implementation. From initially feasibility evaluations through construction management of large turnkey projects, Mr. Murray’s diverse project background provides clients with full-service capabil- ities that are easily scalable to fit their specific needs. Specific skills include project schedul- ing, value engineering, contract preparation, construction sequencing and phasing, civil/site design and construction administration. Peter Garland, P.E. - Senior Structural Engineer & Principal With more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Garland specializes in engineering design and structural analyses. His expertise covers the development of design concepts, specification writing, project coordination and supervision from design through construction, renovation of existing structures, evaluating water and fire-damaged structures and designing retrofit solutions. Joshua Grice, P.E., CEM, CCCA, CEA - Principal and Senior Project Manager Josh is a licensed mechanical engineer, Certified Energy Manager and Certified Construc- tion Contract Administrator. With more than 19 years of project management experience, Mr. Grice evaluates a building’s energy usage and recommends improvements that increase efficiency and reduce energy-related project costs. Josh is an expert in capital improvement plans, energy usage reviews, and project management from design through construction. His leadership and can-do attitude is infectious and he will treat your project like it is his own home.
