TOLexpo trade show comes to Lyon, France, for the first time

TOLexpo is the only global event completely dedicated to production equipment and technologies for working sheets, coils, tubes and sections, and takes place from 5 to 8 March 2019 in Lyon, France. It will form part of Global Industrie, France’s nationwide industry event. As a result it is an essential show for any professional searching for specific inno- vations, know-how and technologies in all areas including welding, forming, sheet blanking systems, manufacturing lines and FMS, additive manufacturing, robotised applications, finishing, con- trols, measurement and quality control, and machines for working tubes, wires and sections, among many others. With more than 200 exhibitors, manu- facturers and distributors and with over half of them being international, it features exhibits for every industry. For its part, industry has given its approval to TOLexpo’s integration into Global Industrie. Ninety four per cent of the visitors in 2018 declared that they were satisfied with their visit and 80 per cent of those planning investment projects were able to finalise them on the spot. TOLexpo2019will alsobeanopportunity to follow the latest developments in the rapidly changing sheet metal sector, such as increasingly powerful 2D fibre laser cutting; the automatic configuration of press brakes; advances in process automation and robotisation driven forward by developments in programming tools; and additive manufacturing with metals as well as the digitisation of production processes. A wealth of new tube-related products will also be on display at the show.
