Recently it has launched two innovative machines: the second generation of its fully automatic Precision Layer Winder (FA-PLW) and the No Twist Coiler (NTC) for spring wire. The new FA-PLW combines speed, precision to 100 th of a millimetre and easy user-friendliness. The spools are changed automatically with servo- drive motor-operated tooling. The servo-motor types are customisable so customers can choose according to their preferred brand and needs. The No Twist Coiler for spring wire, which was launched in 2017, is claimed to set a new standard for bedding and seating wire coiling. The NTC produces twist-free and straight wire at up to 40m per second without the need for additional straighteners. Madem-Moorecraft USA has begun production in its new manufacturing facility, located in Tarboro, North Carolina, USA. The new factory was built utilising the latest CNC technology and will be the fourth factory of the Brazilian group Madem.
