Children in the 8–11 years age group should not run heats and finals for races above two laps.

For the two older age groups races above four laps and all paarlaufs should be run as time-trials.

Assuming the length of the gymnasium does not exceed 40 metres.

Minimum Rest Periods Races or Relay legs having 1 or 2 Laps = 20 minutes Races or Relay legs having 3 or 4 Laps = 30 minutes
