Hughes yesterday announced the{ 1 , appointment of Dr. Irene Sabelberg Palm-i 1 er as the dean of the university's new 1 l school of nursing. l Dr. Palmer, former dean and professoq at Boston University's School of Nursing, 1 ) will head USD's new two-year post bac- l calaureate program for registered nurses! when classes begin next month. . , The program, leading to a bachelor of , science degree in nursing, will be open to · ~ registered nurses completing require- 1 · ments at community college .or nursing ; school programs. , Dr. Palmer said the USD Philip Y.
