2023 FBINAA Annual Report

LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Hello FBINAA Members,

As we wrapped up 2023 and welcomed in new members from Sessions 285, 286, 287, and 288, I can say with confidence that it has been a very busy year. We have seen changes in many areas of the association as well as the FBI National Academy. As you review the information contained in this publication, you should take pride in knowing that this staff and leadership continues to review our programs and build new ones to keep this association at the forefront of law enforcement training. Our staff is unmatched and, under the guidance and leadership of Executive Director Jeff McCormick, they continue to build the FBINAA brand while ensuring our financial sustainability. During the first half of 2023 under Tim Braniff’s presidency, we focused on our “Reach Out And Re-engage” (ROAR) campaign to encourage past members to come back to the association and experience the opportunities that only members have. We are constantly working to identify and implement the tools needed by our chapters in order to engage at the local level with NA graduates to increase chapter membership and member involvement. Increasing our membership and building our worldwide network of law enforcement professionals continues to be a priority. During the second half of 2023, our association hired our current Executive Director, Jeff McCormick. He has been learning the many facets of the association and working to ensure each of them moves in a positive direction with a level of professionalism we are proud of. Bringing new ideas, personnel, and leadership into our association while focusing on building our relationships with our Strategic and Academic Alliance Partners as well as the FBI has been a focus during his first few months.
