With 0.35dB amplitude unbalance and 6° phase unbalance (relative to 90°), the hybrid produces nearly equal output signals with 90° phase shift, ideal for I/Q systems, balanced amplifiers, antenna feeds, and many more applications. The splitter is designed in to a miniature printed laminate measuring only 0.25x0.2x0.069” with wraparound terminations for good solderability and easy visual inspection. This model is ideal for distributing signals where S-Band IF and a reference signal are fed onto the same line. It provides good input/output matching VSWR of 1.2:1, low insertion loss (0.5dB low channel; 2.0dB high channel), and 22dB isolation between channels or better. The unit comes housed in a rugged aluminum alloy case (4.00x1.25x0.50”) with SMA connectors.

Mini-Circuits’ MMIC Splitter/ Combiners Provide 10 to 43.5GHz Coverage in a Single Device Mini-Circuits’ new EP2KA+ MMIC 2-way 0˚ splitter/combiner offers industry-leading bandwidth, covering applications from 10 to 43.5GHz. This model is ideal for wideband systems like 5G, defense, and instrumentation which require full coverage in a single device, and it delivers consistent performance across its entire frequency range, allowing users to reduce part numbers on their bill of materials with one model. The splitter/combiner provides 0.9dB insertion loss at 30GHz, 22dB typical isolation, 0.18dB amplitude unbalance and 3-6˚ phase unbalance. It handles up to 1.25W RF input power as a splitter and is capable of passing up to 300mA DC current from input to output. It comes housed in a tiny 2.5 x 3.5mm QFN, giving designers both a new level of performance and the flexibility to add these capabilities almost anywhere on their PCB. Mini-Circuits’ High-Rejection Reflectionless Bandpass Filter Passes 15.5 to 16.5GHz Mini-Circuits’ XBF-163+ is a reflectionless band pass filter with a passband from 15.5 to 16.5GHz. The filter employs a patented filter topology, which absorbs and terminates stopband signals rather than reflecting them back to the source. This capability eliminates stopband reflections typical of traditional filter designs, minimizing intermodulation and other interferences. This model includes four sections, achieving stopband rejection up to 60dB up to 30GHz and 46dB up to 40GHz. It provides 4.7dB insertion loss in the passband, 1.4:1 passband VSWR, and 2.5:1 typical VSWR in the stopband. It can handle RF input power up to 0.5W in the passband and 0.16W in the stopband, and it provides a wide operating temperature range from -55 to +105°C.
