FEBRUARY 2018 BEACON

As I write this article, the Commodore’s 2018 Ball is now over. It was a very emotional event for Linda and me as we were surrounded by great friends of NCYC. It gave us a chance to introduce to the Club the new 2018 Flag officers and Board of Directors. The support and reassurances we received were overwhelming. We had close to 200 friends who joined us for a night that we will never forget. I want to thank all of you who attended and made that evening so special. It is now February and the middle of winter. All of us are thinking spring and wanting to start getting our boats ready for the summer fun at NCYC. There is still time to join over 60 of your fellow NCYC members for the Commodore’s Cruise in September. The cruise will take us from New York to Halifax, Nova Scotia along the east coast of the Atlantic Ocean. Please contact me if you are interested in joining us or have questions.
