Home Coming Dance

The first weekend in November was a special one at USD. Special because it was time once again for that annual fall pageant, homecoming. After weeks of preparation and hype, No– vember 3rd arrived finally and frenzied foot– ball fans flocked to USD Stadium to witness the battle with cross-town rival United States International Unversity. USIU routed the To– reros, 28-6. Following the game, students and alumni alike rejoined in the Presidio Room of the Town and Country Hotel. "Daily Planet" kept the atmosphere lively up until the cli– mactic moment when Carrie Galvin crowned Bridget Brennan as Homecoming Queen for 1979.
