quality as good as or better than manual plans (MA) and higher cost efficiency, there are simply no arguments left to keep RTT’s in dose planning. This trend will also be seen in other steps of the RT workflow such as pre- treatment scans, plan QA and IGRT. So, RTT’s will become a much smaller group in the future radiotherapy clinics, unless we find ways to improve treatment quality that cannot be performed by a machine.
