HARDWICK TOWNSHIP PLANNING BOARD APRIL 14, 2016

There was the regular meeting of the Hardwick Township Planning Board on Thursday, April 14, 2016. The meeting was called to order at 7:32 p.m. by Chairman Ribitzki. He led the Board in the Pledge of Allegiance. He stated that proper notice of this meeting has been given in compliance with the “Open Public Meetings Act”. ROLL CALL: The following Planning Board Members were present: Mayor James Perry, Jim McKim, Al Carrazzone, Lori Gold, George Fee, John Lovell, Alfia Schemm, and Walter Ribitzki. Board Member absent: Richard Matrisciano. Also Present: Board Engineer Rodman and Board Attorney Glen Gavan. MINUTES APPROVED: Copies of the minutes of the meeting of January 14, 2016, were distributed to all Board Members prior to the meeting. Mr. Fee made the motion to approve the minutes of January 14, 20165. Motion seconded by Mayor Perry. In a voice vote, all were in favor. OPEN TO THE PUBLIC: Chairman Ribitzki stated that Mr. McCallister is present to discuss an informal conceptual. Board Attorney Gavan reviewed the purpose and procedure of an informal conceptual presentation. Ryan McCallister was present and he stated that has a home on approximately 15 acres and he would like to possibly subdivide his property. The Board asked if the property might already be deed restricted as the remainder property was the subject of a prior subdivision. The Board briefly discussed the issues and the current zoning. OTHER BUSINESS: Affordable Housing Update Mayor Perry updated the Board on the status of the Affordable Housing situation, which was discussed with the Board at great length. ROSI The Board discussed the update needed for the Recreation Open Space Inventory, which needs to be signed by Chairman Ribitzki. Maximum Occupancy Limits The Board discussed the memo from Zoning Officer Boesze and the definition of family. Mayor Perry stated that he will touch base with Mr. Boesze. Ordinance Discussion The last remaining item on the list was the modification to the checklists. Board Secretary Schemm stated that the checklists are being revised to incorporate all of the
