Comedians of power, experts in all genres, entertainers of the moment, they roam through make-up booths, faces corroded with concealer. Only the smell of disaster reaches their nostrils. To them, nothing else has any odor and they make every effort to throw this very insensitivity in the public’s face in the false light of a television studio. Like specters stripped of meat, they crave applause.
