Parent Panel – You Said, We Did

Parent Panel meets every term to discuss a wide variety of topics, giving parents the opportunity to meet with Mr Douglas and Mr White and talk directly about their views of the School.

Please see below some of the key points made at the last meeting and the School’s response.

You said: We were told that we would get our child’s Year 7 CATS scores

We did: CATS scores will be added to all Year 7 Progresso accounts shortly. If you are having any problems with access to Progresso please email Mrs Patel on jpatel@rickmansworth.herts.sch.uk and she will resend your login details. We have been told that the queues in the canteen are better, but there is a lack of food for KS4 and 5. We have confirmed with the canteen that they is now a second sitting for lunch, and food is brought out fresh at the start of KS4 and 5 lunch break. You said: There is a problem with the cashless fingerprint system in the canteen. Accounts can show no money when they have just been topped up. We have spoken with the Bursars and although there was an issue at the start of term, it should now be resolved. If your child is still having trouble with the system, please go to the Bursar’s office and they will rectify the situation” You said: We did: We did:

Expertly carved Halloween pumpkins at the start of this half-term made by members of the RHS. The seeds have been saved to grow into pumpkins for next year. If you are interested in getting involved please see Mr Whitmore, or come to the School Garden at 3.15pm on a Tuesday afternoon.
