Mathey Dearman appoints new vice president of sales and marketing

Mathey Dearman, Inc, USA, a manufacturer focused on welding and pipeline productivity, has appointed Charles G Lutz as vice president of sales and marketing for Africa, Asia, Australia, Latin America, the Middle East and New Zealand. Mr Lutz initially spent nine years with Invensys Plc, a UK-headquartered provider of industrial control components and systems for climate control, as director of international business development. Based in the UK, he led the entry of the company’s newly formed safety electronics division into Europe. Its nationwide branch network and strong product Corrotherm holds niche stocks in the high-end nickel alloys, and also targets difficult and risky markets such as the Middle East, Africa and the Caspian. “We have competitors in various areas of our operation, but no one company that does everything we do,” said Jan Ward, CEO. “In addition to materials supply we are able to give support and advice on materials selection and fabrication. More recently, we are frequently having to help rewrite manufacturing specifications for our customers to cover the many new end uses that nickel alloys are being used for.”
