Copper tube manufacturer Wuxi Longda Copper Metal Industries was established inWuxi, China in1994. After rapidgrowth, in 2004 the company built a new factory for copper and copper alloy condenser tubes to serve the global market. This factory received product development and production improvement assistance from Apeldoorn Metals International bv, a corporation dealing in such products since 1935. Extensive investments were made in new and progressive manufacturing equipment, and in 2008 a new produc- tion hall was built to accommodate a range of new tube finning machines and auxiliary equipment. Fin blanks in copper and copper alloys are supplied by the company’s in-house factory. Wuxi Longda is now ready to Qaem Copper Industries Company, a producer of seamless copper tube including LWC (plain and inner grooved), straight and pancake, has developed thin-walled copper tubes. These thin- walled tubes are produced in LWC form, both in plain and inner grooved type. The tubes are lightweight and have good heat transfer compared to thicker-walled tubes. The copper tubes are clean, since they are annealed in a furnace that has been equipped with a copper tube purging (CTP) system. This system provides a protective atmosphere through level-wound copper tube coils during the annealing process. To ensure product quality in the domestic and foreign market, the company’s test facilities have been equipped with modern equipment such as German eddy current testing, German optical emission spectrometer, English tensile tester and Japanese optical microscope, which enable the company’s products to be used in air conditioning systems, industrial refrigerators, condensers, heat
