Copper capillary tubes from India Vaishali Metals Pvt Ltd was established in 1989 to manufacture critical components such as fine bore copper capillary tubes matching ASTM standards for refrigeration and air conditioning industry and other applications. The company is also equipped with the facility to manufacture tin plated copper capillaries required for temperature control/thermostat industry. The company received technical support and training from Whirlpool Corporation, USA, for converting its existing manufacturing facility to be compatible with ozone-friendly non- CFS refrigerant and hydrocarbons. Vaishali Metals products are also used in applications in industries including instrumentation, expansion valves, automotive, temperature gauges, medical appliances and fire alarms.

Inner grooved copper tubes are found in residential and commercial air con- ditioning and refrigeration applications. The company’s seamless inner grooved tube’s (IGT) highly precise dimension and integral groove shape increases the efficiency of heat exchangers, continuously driving improvements in environmentally friendly refrigerants. Capilator © tube is Wolverine’s capillary tube, used throughout the refrigeration and air conditioning industry for flow restriction applications. These tubular components are produced in copper hard drawn straight lengths. Control Tube is a small bore annealed tube used in applications such as heat loop and pressure control for refrigeration manufacturing. Control tube is available in straight lengths, level wound coils and bunch coils.

Industrial tube from Wolverine Tube, Inc consists of small and medium- diameter copper tube made to customer specifications for equipment manufacturing. Industrial tube products include coils in lengths of up to one mile (to permit economical transport to customers for further processing), smooth straight tube, internally- enhanced tube with internal surface ridges to increase heat transfer in air conditioning coils, and very small diameter capillary tube (as small as 0.01") for control valve operations. Wolverine Tube’s smooth surface tube components have helical integral ridges that allow for efficient heat transfer. These integral ridges improve the efficiency of heat exchangers in which refrigerant condenses or evaporates within the tube. The smooth surface tube products can be supplied in level wound coils, or in straight lengths.
