California Dairy Sustainability Summit Planning continued for the first inaugural California Dairy Sustainability Summit, to be held November 27-28 th in Sacramento. The CMAB coordinated a consumer-focused panel with experts from Ketchum, McDonalds, Nestle and Hilmar, which will be presented on day one of the event.

Industry Integration: Scoop it Forward CMAB partnered with the Hilmar Visitors Center July 13 th to promote California ice cream and support the Hilmar Helping Hands local food pantry with a #scoopitforward event to introduce the new Undeniably Dairy mural. Industry Integration: National Farmers Day In addition to participating in the national online rally for #nationalfarmersday, the CMAB supported Waterford dairy farmers Darin and Maureen Lemos to participate in an experiential event presented by DMI in New York. The event provided dairy farmers an opportunity to interact with consumers at several food events in Manhattan. CMAB supported farmer team member content development to encourage positive conversations about California dairy in their social communities, which included recommendations around dairy, food and agriculture posts. CMAB amplified posts on its owned channels and conducted a training session with team members to continue to develop their skills. California Dairy Communicators CMAB also provided communication updates to the group around various issues activities to align on information and responses. Issues Management/Crisis Preparedness CMAB supported the California dairy industry around various activist activities and demonstrations. The focus on food security continued with a partnership with the California Dairy Quality Assurance Program (CDQAP), local law enforcement, the FBI and Animal Ag Alliance to present tips and tools for on-farm security to dairy farmers in Chino, Tulare, Modesto, Lodi and Rohnert Park.
