Former CDI Los Banos Plant to Re-open The Los Banos, CA former CDI cream cheese and powder facility has been purchased by the owner of Peluso Cheese Company, also located in Los Banos. The new name of the facility will be California Artisan Products, Inc . The new operation will eventually employ about the same number of people and will be the new processing home for Peluso Cheese items. Since the cream cheese equipment is intact, they will also resume processing bulk cream cheese. Other items are also either planned or in the planning stages. The facility is expected to be operational again at the start of the New Year. This is great news for California Dairy and continued processing growth in the Central Valley.
