Youth Sports Indoor Tennis

Y outh S ports

In partnership with Grand Slam Tennis we are offering an indoor tennis program this winter. Using the Red Ball, Orange Ball and Green Ball format, gives kids the chance to play the first time out and keep playing without waiting in lines. This format allows kids to rally constantly and gets the coach more engaged. The techniques and skills taught will serve them for the rest of their lives. Start them out with the right-sized gear on the right-sized courts, and they will develop better technique earlier. With low compression balls and smaller courts, kids have a chance to get to the ball, think about their shot and cover the whole court. The lighter, smaller rackets, with grips appropriate for smaller hands, allow kids to develop proper swing patterns. Three sessions available. Date: Early January - March Time: 4:00 – 6:45 pm Grades: 2 -5 Cost: TBD Depart/Return Location: George E. Jack Elementary School
