d. SmarterProctoring: Expires March 2020. Clause allows us to leave the contract with a 30 day notice. ITS indicated there would be a RFP requirement if we leave contract. Recommendation to get a placeholder in the queue if we think we may want a RFP to ensure prompter service.

2. FY19 Projected Budget: SP18 Assessments is an estimate, Hold Harmless is an estimate (updated once SP18 is in), and reserve fund is estimate based on the other amounts. This will be made available on the MELA course. CyberSecurity need presented by MC4 group 30k per college. Presidents voted to use the MSVCC funds to pay for patch to network for additional security (each school individually). Goal is to ask legislators to up appropriations for educational technology to provide additional security. Grant information was made available, and the hope is to reduce MELO as needed based on usage reports requested. Presidents have discussed using the MSVCC carry over balance for various initiatives. Discussion of cybersecurity, consortium wide SIS, need to disseminate funds in carryover back to the colleges to help with financial state, nothing set in stone. Need to ensure that we have enough in reserve to ensure we can fulfill contractual obligations since we function a year behind due to audit. **Presidents do not want to modify funding formula at this time. They want to let it ride for a year to see what transpires. Deborah Gilbert is retiring, and Jason Carter is taking her role over. Will do “money” presentation in the spring once we have two semesters of data to review.

3. NWN Update: Cisco Spark is now WebEx teams, breaking the Teams hub from 1 to 16. Current plan is that users for both platforms will be the same and uploaded in to one admin portal. NWN will be working with each of us individually regarding implementation. MCCB has been dissatisfied with NWN. Proof of concept should have been effective this summer, but it is not currently working. Reminding NWN no concept = no contract.
