status. The only way the status changes to “Closed” is if we process the request from the “Request for Drop” report. This seems to be a glitch, and it is causing inconsistency on the report. Some requests have an “Open” status when they have actually been “Closed”. If the request is not processed from this report, the status on the report will remain “Open”. Status: Complete f. Keri Cole—Attendance Tool Feature Request--Cut off the right to identify a no show or request drop after the deadline on our consortium calendar. We use control dates in ET for other “due dates” but not these. i. Removed ability for Instructors to identify students as No Show on Request for Drop after the deadline. Deadline should be the “No shows due to other schools” date on MSVCC Calendar. – This date currently does not exist in the Control Dates of the ET. ii. Remove ability for instructors to complete requests for drop after the deadline to withdraw. Deadline should be the “Last Day to Withdraw” date on MSVCC Calendar. – This is the “Withdrawal Date” in the Control Dates of the ET. No Shows Due date should be calculated based on the chart in the MSVCC Policy and Procedure Manual. Late submission of no shows or student request withdrawals should go through an approval process. We use control dates in ET for other "due dates" but not these (for example, when grades are due). We are receiving no show identifications into the sixth week of our summer term. Those should be reported through the eLearning offices - not identified in ET automatically. We need to do the same on the last day to WD. Student request WD should no longer be an option in the attendance feature after the last day to WD on our calendar. Ive wants to verify that this is for the Instructor role only. Should the ELC and ELC Assistant still have the ability to mark No Shows and complete withdrawal requests after the dates on the MSVCC Calendar?  How will you notify other schools?  What exactly will this process look like? Shalon’s understanding of this:  Instructor’s no longer will have right to enter No Shows or Withdrawals after the deadline.  Instructor will need to reach out to their ELC (provider school).  Will the Provider ELC then enter the No Show/Withdrawal?
