ZDENĚK MADAR AWARD 2017 The Faculty of Law of Charles University has already become the tenth place of the Student Scientific Professional Activity (SVOČ) competition (2017). Within X.framework again awarded the Environmental Law Section the Price of Doc. Zdeněk Madar. Along with Prof. Boleslav Pospíšil, docent Madar was a pioneer and de facto co-founder of environmental law in the Czech Republic. His work is mainly connected with the Czechoslovak and later Czech Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, but in the 1980s he worked at the Prague Law Faculty of the Charles University. In the 2017 in the category of Environmental Law was awarded with the 1. class Mr.J an Šeba. His work Climate Change before the Court: Case of Urgenda Foundation v the State of the Netherlands, is printed on the following pages. ♠♠
