Summary In front of question of protection of trees and bushes apart from forest in Poland – sorrowful consequence of one nonsensical amendment The subject of this paper is one solution on the basis of the Polish Nature Protection Act passed on 16 th April 2004, which was amended firstly by the Act passed on 16 th December 2016 and secondly by the Act passed on 11 th May 2017. The first amendment has exempted private owners of real estates from a duty to obtain the permission for removing trees and bushes from the real estate. The consequence was massacre trees and bushes growing on private real estates. The second amendment frankly speaking introduced a duty to put forward intention to remove trees with possibility to raise an objection by the organ od nature protection, but this solution is insufficient and means weaking of protection of trees and bushes.
