A large Remittance cover to Hong Kong, a responding Mother cover mailed from Swatow to Hong Kong, on reverse tied by ‘60c/ 汕(一 ) Postage Paid/ SWATOW’Meter red chop, with SYS Hwa Nan print 10c block of 8, tied by bilingual ‘SWATOW’ cds. Total value of 68c was 136 times the surface mail postage to Hong Kong and the 136 responding covers (at 5c each) included in the mother cover. 1057 1949 (1 May) A Silver Yuan plain address cover, bearing the rare Watlam complete set of 3, tied by char. 'Postal Saving/Watlam' cancel in black.
