TRI-BEAD TAPE MASTIC

ROOF CAP

RIDGE-FLASHING Install the ridge flashing starting and ending 4” outside the steel line. Fasten the ridge flashing to the outside closures with 1/4"-14 x 7/8" WT fasteners. Temporarily leave 4' unfastened on each end to allow for the rake trim to be installed later. Fasteners spacing for 18" and 24" panel shown. 24" Wide Panel: Install a fastener 1 1/2” either side of panel seam and 5 1/4" center to center between seams. Five fasteners are required at each panel. 18" Wide Panel: Install a fastener 1 1/2” either side of panel seam and 5" center to center between seams. Four fasteners are required at each panel.

* * Roof Cap to be flush with the outside face of the gable trim. Refer to Section and Detail pages in the Erection Drawings.

DO NOT FASTEN THROUGH THE LOCK OF THE STANDING SEAM.

Apply a bead of Sikalastomer-511, as shown, and install (14)1/4"-14 x 7/8" WT fasteners at roof cap laps. Use a 2" lap dimension.
