1. Repair cap must extend 1'-0" above and below the damaged area. 2. 3/16" X 13/16" Bulbtite rivet fastened through each clip and both sides of panel rib in damaged area. (2 required per clip) STEP 1

1/4"-14 X 7/8" WT (6" C.C.) (Fasteners must go through tape mastic)

3. Install a continuous run of Tri-Bead tape mastic to both sides of damaged panel rib. 4. Apply a bead of SIKALASTOMER-511 sealant up and over both panel ribs at each end of damaged panel seam. 5. Fill seam portion of repair cap with SIKALASTOMER-511 sealant. 6. Push repair cap down onto panel rib and fasten with 1/4"-14 x 7/8" WT fasteners, 6" C.C., on both sides. Fasteners must go through tape mastic. 7. Check repair cap at each end to verify that urethane sealant has sealed across the entire cross section of repair cap. 8. Maximum of 3 purlins or 19'-0". Damaged seams longer than 19' must be repaired by other means.
