Change of address If you are moving house, temporarily residing somewhere else, or have recently obtained a new contact number or post office box, please let us know via the online enquiry form on the City’s website or by phoning the Customer Contact Centre. If you are a dog or cat owner please also remember to inform us of any changes to the address at which the animal resides. If you are acting on a resident’s behalf or wish to have someone act on your behalf regarding your rates account, please contact the Customer Contact Centre to register this information. Citizenship If you wish to apply for Australian citizenship, please contact the Department of Home Affairs on 13 18 81. Citizenship application forms are also available in the City’s libraries. Once the Department of Home Affairs approves an application the City is notified and will invite all approved applicants to attend a Citizenship ceremony. The waiting period for a citizenship ceremony is approximately two to four months after you have received your approval letter from the Department of Home Affairs.
