P Parking The City of Stirling’s Parking Local Laws are designed to maximise the use of available space and to provide safe access to parking for all motorists. It is the responsibility of the driver to be familiar with the Road Traffic Code 2000 and the City’s Parking Local Law 2014 when parking within the City of Stirling. The regulations stated in these legal documents are enforceable at all times and do not require signage. In some cases, parking signs may be used to reinforce or contribute to parking restrictions within the road reserve. Parks, ovals and reserves The City currently maintains more than 450 reserves and ovals, 10 public tennis courts, and a golf course. If you would like to hold a function at a park or reserve, please submit a request via the online enquiry form on the City’s website or contact the Customer Contact Centre. Submitting a request can avoid clashes with other events and activities. Some events may incur a fee. If you would like to gain access to your property via a park or reserve to complete maintenance or building works, a minimum of 24hrs notice is required for an accessibility assessment to be conducted. Approval may be granted by the City based on the type of access and time period required, associated costs may apply.
