Community and home-based care services If you need a bit more help at home, our community care services team can support you. A support worker will visit to assist you with daily living activities such as: • Basic household chores

• Personal care • Carers respite • Shopping assistance • Assist with transport to appointments or activities • Meal preparation.

Community day clubs Our community day clubs offer large and small group social activities in a variety of locations and styles. Some activities are based in a physical centre, while others go on bus outings. A broad range of activities is offered and each activity is tailored to a different group of customers. There are plenty of opportunities to meet people and keep active in a warm, welcoming space. Community Food Services (formerly Meals on Wheels) Our home delivered meal service offers delicious, nutritious, generously portioned two-course meals delivered directly to your door by our friendly volunteers. Meals are delivered freshly chilled so they can be heated and eaten when it suits you. Community Transport Services Our Community Transport Services can assist you to get to medical or specialist appointments, local shops, social or volunteering activities or to visit relatives. This service is strongly supported by volunteers. Men’s Shed The City of Stirling’s Community Men’s Shed is a not-for-profit facility that enables members to engage in woodworking projects, social interaction opportunities among men and raise awareness of men’s health issues.
