Hazardous waste Up to 20lts or 20kg of hazardous waste can be brought to the Recycling Centre Balcatta per day, free of charge. We will accept: 3 3 CDs and DVDs 3 3 Electronics/mobile phones 3 3 Flares and red fire extinguishers 3 3 Fluorescent light globes 3 3 Household and car batteries 3 3 Ink cartridges 3 3 LPG gas cylinders (that hold less than 9kg of gas) 3 3 Motor oil, coolants and filters

3 3 Pesticides, insecticides and herbicides 3 3 Pool and other household chemicals 3 3 Printer cartridges 3 3 Smoke alarms 3 3 Solvents and paints (dry/empty tins use red bin) 3 3 Varnishes and stains 3 3 X-ray film.
