Recycling Centre Balcatta The City has a dedicated Recycling Centre at 238 Balcatta Road, Balcatta. The centre is open Monday to Saturday from 7.30am to 4.00pm and on Sundays from 8.00am to 4.00pm. It is closed Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and Good Friday. The following items can be dropped off at the recycling centre for free: 3 3 Aluminium and steel cans 3 3 Bicycles (working) 3 3 Fabric, clothing, shoes 3 3 Dry cardboard, magazines and paper (including shredded) 3 3 Electronic waste 3 3 Glass bottles and jars (including broken, lids removed) 3 3 Household furniture in good condition 3 3 Landscaping items 3 3 Mixed plastic 3 3 Polystyrene 3 3 Scrap metals 3 3 White goods (excluding fridges and freezers). The following items must go over the weighbridge and fees apply: 2 2 Air conditioners
