Rest Point Reporter - June 2019
From Manager s Desk
We have all enjoyed beautiful sunny weather for most of this month and spent a lot of time outdoors, the gardens are looking sensational. Thankyou to Bob & Wendy for getting their hands dirty on the weekend in the community vegetable garden, its all weeded and looks ready for some winter vegies to go in. Nice work you 2 green thumbs. Our Resident/ Manager Morning Tea was held mid month, it was a lovely catch up and also perfect timing for one visitor who was thrilled to be greeted at the door with cake. We also had a surprise visit from one of our local council members during May, she gave some assistance to an enquiry and complimented the village saying how lovely it is and it’s a credit to us all.
Don’t forget to check out the June Calendar for a variety of activities to choose from in the village.
ON A PERSONAL NOTE: Kylan began crawling and is now attending Preschool with his big brother Avari. Avari will be 2 in June, where has time gone! And Danielle landed in Portugal last night.
Yours Sincerely Marie
