ingredients 1 pound of ground beef 1 clove of garlic, minced 1 tablespoon of parsley flakes 1 tablespoon of basil 1 tablespon of oregano 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning 1 ½ teaspoon of salt 1 one-pound can (26 cups) whole tomatoes

2 beaten eggs 1 teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon pepper

directions 1. Brown meat slowly with garlic…spoon off excess fat. 2. Add next 7 ingredients to meat. Simmer uncovered until thick, 45 min. to 1 hr., stirring occasionally. Cook noodles in boiling salted water until tender – drain, rinse in cold water. 3. Meanwhile, combine cottage cheese with the next 5 ingredi- ents…put sauce in baking dish. Place noodles in pan, 13x9x2 baking dish. Place noodles over sauce. 4. Add mozzarella cheese and meat mixture. Repeat layers. Bake in moderate oven at 375 for 30 min. 5. Let sit 10-15 min. to set.
