10.2.2 Notice to the Public Law

A notice of the public hearing was published in the local newspaper in a manner pursuant to the stated Government Code 6066. Documentation of the notice provided to the public is included in Appendix E and the draft 2015 UWMP was available for review at various City facilities and on the City’s web page. 10.3 PUBLIC HEARING AND ADOPTION Following the notification of all relevant stakeholders the City held a City Council meeting on July 20, 2016 to address and review comments received from both stakeholders and members of the community. These comments were reviewed and addressed and the final 2015 UWMP was adopted by City Council on July 27, 2016; Appendix E includes a copy of the adopting resolution. Publication of notice pursuant to this section shall be once a week for two successive weeks. Two publications in a newspaper published once a week or oftener, with at least five days intervening between the respective publication dates not counting such publication dates, are sufficient.
