It is the most expensive town in the UK outside of London, and home to families and individuals alike. There are direct trains to London Waterloo averaging 50 minutes. Windsor Windsor is a historic town immediately south of the Thames river in Berkshire, home to the Windsor Castle. Neighbouring Eton, Maidenhead and Bray and the smaller villages of the Royal Borough are similar in its historic regal character. On average, Windsor is 35 minutes to London Paddington by train, with one change at Slough.
