About this report

Foreign Corrupt Practices Act resolution In April 2014, HP entered into a settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to resolve a case regarding the actions of a small number of lower-level employees at three foreign Hewlett-Packard Company subsidiaries in Russia, Poland, and Mexico. Corporate ethics 2016 goals • Continue to improve the amenities screening and approval process and related training. • Develop, implement, and enhance controls tailored to HP’s corruption risks. • Continue to improve and enhance U.S. public sector business controls. • Maintain greater than 99% completion rate of annual SBC training among active HP employees and the Board of Directors. • Streamline the SBC investigations process to increase speed and transparency. • Tailor ethics communications and tools to align with HP’s culture and ensure that our values are carried forward and upheld.
