Brian Fogarty is in his third yea r as USD's Associate Director of Athl eti cs for Athletic De– velopment. He took over thi s post after spend– ing thirteen yea rs as USD's head football coach. He directed USD's football program to eleven seasons of .500 or better records and guided their move from the D ivision Ill ranks to the NCAA I-AA level in 1993. His primary responsibi lities are with fund raising, and the Jenny Craig Pavi lion capital campaign. Brian and his wife Vi cki, who reside in the Scripps Ranch area of San Diego, have four children: Bridget, Joe, Co lleen and Megan. Wendy Guthrie Assistant Director of Athletics/SWA Wendy Guthrie is in her third yea r as the Assistant Athletics Director, and second as Se– nior Woman Administrator. Guthrie is a 1991 graduate of Whitti er College (B.A. in Business Adm inistration) w here L!!!;~~~~~:.I she was a two yea r captain and four-time AI I- SCIAC selection. Upon graduation she worked as Assistant D irector of Admissions at Whittier. She earn ed her Master's in Phys ica l Educa ti on w ith a concentration in Athleti c Adm ini stration at Springfield College in Massachusetts. After Springfield, she held the position of Assistant Director of Athl eti cs at St. Francis Coll ege in Pennsy lvania for one yea r. She ga ined internationa l experience work– ing with the Colorado Sports Council and was the D irector of Awards Ceremonies at the 1995 Olympic Festiva l in Denver. She also served in corporate hospital ity at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.

Yourg received h'isBachelor's (Sociology, 1980) and Master's (Social Work, 1986) degrees from the Universi ty of Wisconsin, w here he was a nose gua rd on the Badgers' footba ll team. Dan and his wife Virgini a, a USD alumnus, are the parents of two sons, John and Thomas. Renee Wiebe Assistant Director ofAthletics for Marketing and Promotions Renee Wi ebe is in her second yea r as Assistant Director of Ath letics for Marketing and Promotions. Her previous experi ence in athleti cs was at the University of Northern Iowa where she was Marketing and Promotions Di– rector from 1993-95. Prior to that she was Promotions Assistant at the Un ivers ity of Florida in Ga inesvill e, Florida. She ea rned her Bachelor of Journal ism-Broadcast Sequence from the University of Missouri-Columbia in May, 1991. She went on to earn her Masters of Education w ith an emphasis in Sports Admin– istration from Wi chita State University in August, 1993 .

versity w ith a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physica l Education, Carolyn went on to earn her Master's in Sports Medicine in 1978. Over the years she has taught classes in Sports Medi cine and had numerous arti cles pubIished in a va ri ety of journa ls. She oversees sixteen intercol legia te teams and approximately 350 USD student– athletes on a yea rl y basis. The Sports Medicine staff provides injury prevention, immediate ca re, and rehabili tation for USD's intercol le– giate athl etes. Caro lyn, and her husband Jeff, res ide in the Pacific Beach area of San D iego with the ir two boys, David and Jason. Ted Cosen Sports Information Director Ted Cosen is in his 17th yea r serving as

A 1983 graduate of Brown Un ive rsity (Biology), Steve was a two-sport letterman in football (defensiv e bac k) and track (long jumper). He earned his Master's degree in Human Kinetics in 199 1 from the Uni vers ity of Wiscons in-M ilwaukee. From 1983-90 he was an ass istant footba lI coach at Wauwatosa East H igh School in Wauwatosa, W isconsin, and assisted in track in 1988. Ted and hisw ife Terri , a 1983 USD graduate, reside in Poway with their four daughters: Kati e, Col leen, Claire and Erin .
