Reading Style Spring 2018
March. There’s a hint of warmer weather in the air. Over the weekend we traveled to San Antonio and could see bluebonnets beginning to flower. They perennially serve as a harbinger of spring. Closer to home: my cool-weather vegetable seedlings are planted. My program for the Texas Library Association’s annual conference is annotated. There are so many excellent sessions, it is difficult to narrow my choices. Below is a photograph with Texas author Sarah Bird. Her speech at the TLA Annual Assembly was inspiring! Can’t wait to listen and learn at this year’s conference.
With the advent of spring, it is time for the next issue of Reading Style Guide. This issue features the hope that a change in the seasons brings. Celebrate with fireflies, fish, outdoor playgrounds, pizza, and more.
