Brian, Thank you for the meeting. It was very productive.

I'd like to address one specific question in this email. I'm surprised that they decided to have a control joint at the top of the slanted columns. My impression has always been that this is supposed to look like one complete molded piece, monolithic, of sorts. I have attached an original rendering that was supplied to us, I do understand that this has changed significantly though. It's important to track the control joint drawings supplied with the joint sealants package I sent over recently (one attached here). It only indicates that are control joints at the connection between the concrete and gypsum at the bottom.
