In 1928 the original Carls­ berg Foundation was the ow­ ner of 27 y, million kroner, to which then the fortune of the Ny Carlsberg Foundation must be added. The income of the Foundation in 1924 was 1,900,000 kroner and of Ny Carlsberg Foundation 1,090,000 kroner. The Carlsberg Foundation in 1924 gave 700,000 kroner in grants, while 800.000 kro­ ner of the New Carlsberg
