In the aquarium are tropical water-lilies and other aquatic plants. In the open ground must be mentioned especially the big richly planted stone-hills, the quarters for perennial plants, for studying, and the Danish quarter, where, inclu­ ding the bog and the lake, are found most of the Danish wild growing plants. The buildings towards Gothersgade are the Botanical Museum and the Botanical Laboratory. In the museum are a big herbarium and botanical collections, be­ sides the very valuable Bota­

nical Library, which is open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12—3. In the Botanical Laboratory the botanical researches take place (the biological, anato­ mical and physiological) and the botany lessons of the U niversity and the Pharm aceuti­ cal Academy are given here. The tine promenade through the garden from Gothersgade to Solvgade is open in the summer from 7 o’cl. in the w inter from 8 till sunset and the whole garden is open from 1 o’cl. The Pal- mehouse is open in the sum ­ mer from 1—5 and in the winter 3 times a week from 1—3. The hours for the aqua­ rium may be seen a t the po­ sters in the garden. Admis­ sion free.
