R eturning to the starting- point, the Town-Hall Square, and having the Town-Hall to the right, we s ta rt on map 1 and begin our trip through the narrow Frederiksbergga­ de, having on the two corners Ilennetts tourists agency (see Chapter 5) to the left and 11. T. Centralen to the right, and we then find ourselves on the »Stroget« (the promenade) from here td Kongens Nytorv. In Frederiksberggade to the left on the corner of Knt- tesundet one will notice the modern moving picture thea­ tre, Metropol Teatret (see chapter 13). Frederiksberggade ends at the two squares Gammeltorv

Between the Town-Hall and the hotel is erected a column, on which is a group of two old Danish warriors, blowing the ancient bugle, the »Lur« (sculptor S. W agner). The front of the hotel runs parallel with Vestcr Voldga- de, passing Frederiksbergga­ de and ending at Norrc Vold- gade (see map. 0 ). On the corner of Vesterga- de is the building of the »Poli- tiken« (daily paper) with a big globe on the roof, and further one passes to the right the hotel Kong Frederik, ho­ tel Ilafnia and Parlchotcllet.
