Digital Deposit Digital deposit is American Trust’s remote deposit solution. With digital deposit you are able to scan images of checks right in your office, and submit those images electronically for deposit. There is no need to make a trip to the bank. Deposits can be made right up to 5:00 p.m. and still be credited the same day. Digital deposit is especially beneficial for the business with a remote location. Deposits can be made immediately to American Trust without having to be deposited in a local bank and then transferred. Lockbox With this arrangement, a company’s receivables are collected in a special Post Office box and processed by American Trust daily. This procedure accelerates the processing of payments—increasing the availability of cash for your business—as it maximizes the number of items processed in one day. Automated Clearinghouse (Direct Deposit/Direct Debit) Direct deposit payroll and automated payments are a cost- and time-efficient way to improve cash flow, reduce check writing, and keep employee payroll information confidential. The automated clearinghouse is the central clearing facility that receives electronic entries from originating financial institutions, distributes the information to receiving institutions, and performs the settlement function for the participating institution.
