IASA Listserver reinstated

The IASA Listserver has been reinstated. The service is for IASA Active and Retired Members only and can be accessed through the IASA website ( www.iasaedu.org ) under the Communications tab . The Listserver is available as an opt-in service. Postings on the IASA Listserver are the opinions, thoughts or suggestions of the individual placing the submission. IASA does not guarantee, support or endorse the messages or information posted on the Listserver nor does IASA warranty the accuracy of any information shared on the Listserver. Listserver responses are not a substitute for professional legal advice. You are always urged to consult legal counsel for legal advice.

Please note the following rules and procedures for participating on the Listserver:

 Listserver topics should relate to professional matters of K-12 education only.  Make sure the subject line of your message is clear and specific so that people can quickly decide if they want to read it. 

Sending messages to the Listserver is generally a matter of common sense and courtesy. Use your own sense of what is appropriate to guide your conduct, without engaging in unreasonable behavior, or disrupting the general flow of discussion on a list.  Profanity, sexual content or materials that are prohibited by local, State or federal law are strictly prohibited on the Listserver.  The Listserver does not allow spam, junk mail, chain letters or other unsolicited bulk email, commercial or otherwise.  Respect copyright laws when forwarding messages. If you are in doubt as to whether something is copyrighted, check with the author.  Respect the privacy of Listserver participants. Do not give out the private email addresses or contact information of others.  The Listserver is not to be used for commercial purposes, that is to solicit business on or behalf of any company or individual. Individuals may request input as to sources for or costs of products or services.  Participants who use the Listserver or any materials posted on the Listserver as a catalyst to solicit business for themselves or any entity with which they are affiliated will be removed as an authorized user of the Listserver.

Failure to strictly follow the rules may result in immediate loss of Listserver privileges without notice. IASA reserves the right to deny participation on the Listserver.
